Metal Fabrication Apprentice

The role
As an Apprentice within our Cleat department, you will support the business with the operational requirements of modern integrated engineered production plans and services. Take the first step towards building your career while gaining hands-on experience and getting paid as you work towards your qualifications. You will complete a 4 year apprenticeship specialising in metal fabrication and will study with TDR Training, completing a portfolio of evidence to prove their competence to achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Metal Fabrications. At the start of your apprenticeship, you'll spend the first 20 weeks at TDR Training School in Longbenton. You'll then join the team at CMP, in Cramlington, where you'll spend four days per week in the factory while attending college one day per week.

The apprentice Sales Engineer role serves as a crucial link between BEL Valves products and its potential customers. This role involves a unique blend of technical expertise and sales acumen, as you take responsibility for understanding complex products or solutions and effectively conveying their value to clients. You will develop a keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy, ensuring the effective fulfillment of customer needs. Your dedication to exceptional customer service will be instrumental in driving successful sales and building lasting relationships in the marketplace. You will complete a 4-year apprenticeship specialising in the first instance Assembly and Test followed by entering the sales team and will study with South Tyneside Marine School, completing a portfolio of evidence to prove their competence to achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering. At the start of your apprenticeship, you'll spend the first 15 weeks at South Tyneside Marine School. You'll then join the team at Bel Valves in Walker, where you'll spend four days per week in the factory, while attending college one day per week ultimately ending up within the sales office.
