Engineering Students Complete Summer Placement at Rotary Power
Every year, Rotary Power employs placement students to help on various projects. A great way for engineering students to receive hands on experience and to apply their academic knowledge to working life. We spoke to two Durham University engineering students about their summer placements.

Unfortunately not. Because of the complexity of our processes and products, degree level knowledge of engineering is required.
We offer graduate roles across other areas of the business, so keep an eye out for future opportunities, or register your interest.
Of course! You can apply for as many positions as you like.
We advertise graduate roles throughout the year so there are no set start dates.
You’ll work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
You’ll also get a half day on Fridays, finishing at 1:30pm!
This will depend on the position you have applied for but you will be based at one of our group businesses in the North East of England. We have sites in Cramlington, Walker, Gateshead, Killingworth, Benton, South Shields and Bishop Auckland.
Definitely! You will have regular catch ups, assessments and appraisals with your manager to check in on your progress, set objectives and make sure you are happy in your role.
